For our fourth and final LGBTQ+ History Month blog, Matt, our Visitor Experience Assistant, has been chatting with Amy, who is Gloucestershire’s first AFAB Queen… Eva Fliction.

We’ve learnt about Eva Fliction and where the name came from, what barriers Amy has faced as a performer and also found out exactly what a drag queen is.

To listen to the audio of Matt interviewing Amy, click on the button below…

WHAT IS AN AFAB QUEEN?
An AFAB Queen is a drag queen who was assigned female at birth (“AFAB”).

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM AN EVA FLICTION PERFORMANCE?
Amy and Matt tell us a little bit about what we can expect from a performance but check out the video below to see Eva Fliction in action at Pride in Gloucestershire’s Virtual Pride 2020.
