Billy: Twirling Through Time is a work in progress sharing of a festive celebration of dance, queer friendships, and identity, inspired by the seminal film Billy Elliot. 

Artists Tom Marshman and Ryan O'Shea would like to open up their artistic process to local artists and interested audiences.  

They will be grappling through their new show Billy: Twirling Through Time live on stage and want your artistic input. The show is a festive celebration of dance, queer friendships, and identity, inspired by the seminal film Billy Elliot .

Tom Marshman and Ryan O'Shea bring humour and heartfelt reflection to the stage, reimagining iconic moments from the film while exploring the challenges of ageing in dance.

Be prepared for cheap wigs, even cheaper costumes, and a rich tapestry of life experiences. This is a rare opportunity to see how shows get developed, we are grateful to Tom and Ryan for being vulnerable and sharing their process with us.
